What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing Specialist position at FAMILY LIFE COUNSELING & PSYCHIATRIC SERVICES?
The Billing & Follow-up Specialist provides for consistent cash flow of the organization by timely
and accurately billing all insurances and providing follow-up support for any claims for which the
payer has not paid timely.
Previous billing experience with Commercial, Medicare and Medicaid insurances.
Previous experience with Accounts Receivable follow up and correction
Previous experience with Referrals and Client Intake
Have an understanding of ERA’s and payment posting.
Have an understanding of FLC organization and staff
Familiar with EOB’s (Explanation of Benefits) - how to read and interpret
Professional telephone skills
Salary : $14 - $16
