What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licenses Independent Social Worker - Supervisor position at FAMILY LIFE COUNSELING & PSYCHIATRIC SERVICES?
- Refers patients to community resources to assist in recovery.
- Investigates child abuse cases and takes authorized protective action when necessary.
- Counsels patients to help them overcome dependencies, recover from illness, and adjust to life.
- Monitors, evaluates, and records client progress according to measurable goals described in treatment and care plan.
- Modifies client treatment plans to comply with any changes in status.
- Organizes support groups or counsels family members to help them understand, deal with, and support the patient.
- Attends and participates in staff development programs, department related conferences and administrative meetings.

- Education: Master's degree with Independent licensure, LISW or LPCC
- Supervisory ability is preferred.
- Experience: Appropriate certifications and/or licensures with at least 5 years of related experience in state of Ohio

Provide individual one on one counseling services with children, adolescents, adults and families.

Complete assessment, diagnose, formulate a treatment plan and carry out services along with termination, with meeting deadlines for documentation.
