Position’s Primary Purpose:
Create a welcoming and professional environment for all visitors and callers to the SFJC. Provide referrals for individuals not eligible for services. Explain SFJC processes and initiate client intake. Offer hospitality and support to clients. Track walk-ins and calls for statistical reporting. Maintain professional relationships with staff, partners, and volunteers. Manage and update SFJC social media presence.
Expected Outcomes/ Key Accountabilities:
· Staff the reception desk and greet all visitors professionally.
· Ensure all visitors sign in appropriately.
· Initiate and document the client intake process using designated software.
· Answer phone calls with professional etiquette and provide accurate referrals.
· Perform general administrative and clerical duties.
· Record data in calendars and case management systems for statistical tracking.
· Maintain awareness of SFJC operations and staff roles.
· Monitor and update staff and partner schedules.
· Train volunteers as needed.
· Manage social media platforms and ensure timely updates.

Education/Experience Needed:
Required
· High School Diploma/GED or equivalent, or 1-3 years of office/administration experience
· Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking Spanish.
Desirable
· Associate degree in business or administrative studies preferred
· Experience in a high-volume office environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
