Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients' mental health status.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments and patient needs.
- Provide therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and available treatment options.
- Participate in case conferences and team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.
- Stay current with advancements in mental health treatment and incorporate evidence-based practices into care delivery.
- Advocate for patients' needs and rights within the healthcare system.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Licenses/Certification: Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) or equivalent in the state of practice.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months of clinical experience in a behavioral health setting. Experience working with diverse populations, including adolescents, adults, and substance use disorders. Proven track record in developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
