Job Purpose:
The Licensed Behavioral Health Specialist at Family Hospital Management Company LLC is responsible for providing comprehensive mental health services to patients. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with mental health disorders, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support with a focus on focusing on Alcohol and Substance Use Disorders at both the Detox and Outpatient level of care. The specialist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, promoting mental well-being and recovery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients' mental health status.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments and patient needs.
- Provide therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and available treatment options.
- Participate in case conferences and team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.
- Stay current with advancements in mental health treatment and incorporate evidence-based practices into care delivery.
- Advocate for patients' needs and rights within the healthcare system.

Qualifications:

Required Education:
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent in the state of practice.

Required Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a behavioral health setting.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including adolescents, and adults.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnose mental health disorders.
- Proficiency in electronic health records and documentation practices.
- Demonstrated ability to handle crisis situations with professionalism and empathy.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry standards and practices.
