What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Medical Director (NP, MD, or DO) position at FAMILY HEALTH CENTERS, INC.?
Maintain an active patient panel and provide direct patient care.
Partner with the Chief Medical Officer to support clinical operations and provider performance.
Mentor and support physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.
Assist with provider recruitment, onboarding, and retention.
Improve patient access, provider productivity, and clinic efficiency.
Support clinical workflow improvements and operational initiatives.
Serve as acting clinical leader in the absence of the Chief Medical Officer.
Collaborate with leadership teams to achieve organizational goals.
Licensed NP, MD, or DO in South Carolina.
Minimum 5 years of clinical experience.
Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, or community health experience.
Passion for serving rural and underserved populations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior leadership, supervisory, or management experience.
- Experience in primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, community health, or FQHC
