What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parent Educator position at FAMILY GUIDANCE CENTER?
The First Teacher Home Visiting Program is seeking a full-time Parent Educator for Montgomery County. The Parent Educator will conduct home visits for parents with children ranging from prenatal to age five, and will support them in the healthy development of their child, provide a foundation for success in school, and help families set and achieve goals.
Qualifications:Preferred qualifications for the position are a degree in Early Childhood, Social Work, or closely related field with extensive case management experience. Successful candidates should be motivated and have excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills, as well as experience in community outreach.
