Duties
- Provide attentive and responsive care to children in a safe environment.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate care routines that promote learning and development.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and physical growth.
- Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
- Assist with daily routines including feeding, diapering, and nap times.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom or play area.
- Support children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities to meet their individual requirements.
Requirements
- Previous experience in childcare, caregiving, or babysitting is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies.
- Experience working with infants and toddlers children or preschool is a plus.
- Ability to create engaging age appropriate activities that cater to various developmental stages.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children of all abilities.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is desirable but not mandatory; training can be provided.
