What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN - Health Care Consultant position at Family Enrichment Network, Inc.?
The Health Care Consultant is a very part-time position, that functions as Health Care Consultant for Child Care Providers. Reviews Health Care Plans and policies for community child care programs. Reviews child immunization records as needed. Conducts health care training for child care providers.
Essential Duties:
· Provides Health Care Consultancy services for childcare providers. Assists providers with developing a health care plan which meets state requirements.
· Provides technical assistance to providers as it relates to their health care plan and Individual Health Care Plans for children with special health needs.
· Completes, at a minimum, one on-site visit per year to each center/provider for whom we provide health care consultancy.
· Review health care plans and sign off on your agreement.
· Provide technical assistance to providers as it relates to their health care plan.
· Make changes/revisions to health care plans as the center/provider requests.
· Documents all communication and visits with child care programs.
· Remains up-to-date on OCFS regulations and policy changes.
· Models appropriate health behaviors for children and staff.
· Communicates with OCFS licensors.
