We are required to obtain specialized licenses for those of our stores that sell alcohol and/or tobacco. As a manager, you may be required by the local jurisdiction where a store is situated to provide certain detailed background information necessary to obtain a license to sell alcoholic beverages / tobacco products. Failure to comply and/or qualify for such license can lead to demotion or separation of employment.
- Manage and oversee all aspects of district operations to maximize sales, profitability, and operational performance across multiple stores
- Provide leadership, direction, and support to Store Managers to ensure consistent execution of company standards and initiatives
- Recruit, train, develop, and coach Store Managers and store leadership teams to foster a culture of accountability and growth
- Monitor store performance, analyze sales and operational metrics, and implement strategies to improve results
- Ensure every customer receives a positive and consistent shopping experience across all stores in the district
- Safeguard company assets and ensure proper inventory, cash handling, and loss prevention procedures are followed
- Build strong relationships within the community by supporting local engagement and partnerships across district locations
- Ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, while enforcing company policies and procedures
- Execute operational and merchandising strategies communicated from corporate leadership and ensure consistent implementation across all stores
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Ability to lead, coach, and develop multiple teams while driving results is required
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills are required
- Multi-unit retail management experience is preferred
- Ability to travel regularly between store locations within the district is required
- Ability to handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting up to 40 lbs. (occasionally 55 lbs.)
