What are the responsibilities and job description for the Orthodontic Dental Assistant position at Family Dentistry?
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our team two Fridays per month. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a positive, patient-focused environment and is passionate about orthodontic care.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting the orthodontist during patient care and procedures
- Preparing and sterilizing instruments and treatment rooms
- Taking records, photos, and scans as needed
- Providing excellent patient communication and support
- Maintaining accurate clinical notes and assisting with scheduling flow
Qualifications:
- Some Orthodontic Dental Assisting experience required
- X-ray certification
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude
