- Accept payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and provide a receipt to every customer.
- Bag or wrap purchases to ensure safe transport.
- Maintain adequate change denominations in the cash drawer and request additional change.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Welcome customers into the store and provide guidance to items if needed.
- Answer any questions or concerns from customers.
- Provide advice or product recommendations.
- Maintain department order and cleanliness to include assisting in stocking and rotating merchandise.
- Stay up to date on merchandise promotions, advertisements, and product information.
- Follow all store procedures regarding coupons, gift cards, or the purchase of specific items.
