Family-owned repair shop and used car dealership on Route 112, open since

2011. Five bays, seven lifts, and about 340 cars a month coming through the

door.

We're busy. 340 cars a month through five bays, and the diagnostic side has

grown faster than we can absorb it. Our techs are good and their bays are

full. What we need is somebody to take the hard diagnostic work and own it.

That's this job. The driveability problems, the electrical faults, the

intermittents that came back twice already. You work them with a scope and

a wiring diagram and you get to the actual answer.

If you're the tech other shops call when they're stuck, this is the seat.

THE WORK

Hard driveability and electrical diagnosis, start to finish. Scope work.

Wiring diagrams. The jobs that need somebody who can think, not somebody who

can look up a code and order the part it points at.

We diagnose before we replace. If you've ever been pushed to throw a sensor

at something you knew wasn't the sensor, that's not how we work here.

Steady volume. 340 cars a month means the work is there - you're not going

to be standing around waiting for something to come in.

PAY

$2,000 per week, guaranteed, for your first 60 days while you learn our

customers and our cars. You don't eat the ramp-up. That's on us.

After 60 days: base plus per billed hour. At 45 to 60 billed hours a week,

that's $112,000 to $135,000 a year.

that were bait: $2,000/week is exactly what our pay plan pays at 40 billed

hours. It's not a promotional number. It's the plan itself, at a pace we

think is realistic while you're getting up to speed. We'll show you the

whole calculation in the interview and you can run it yourself.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- 5 years A-level experience, strong on electrical and driveability

- Comfortable with a lab scope - Pico or Autel - and reading wiring

diagrams

- Diagnoses before replacing

- Complete set of hand tools

- Valid driver's license

- NYS Inspector license a plus - we'll pay for it if you don't have one

Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
