What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Receptionist position at Family and Industrial Medical Center?
We have an excellent opportunity for a Medical Receptionist to join our team. Family & Industrial Medical Center (FIMC) is the area’s leading provider of primary care, walk-in urgent care, and industrial medicine. The Medical Receptionist is the first point of contact for our patients which requires a positive and welcoming attitude. The receptionist is responsible for efficient, professional, and customer-focused patient care activities include working in an electronic medical records (EMR) system, answering patient calls in a multi-line phone system, checking patients in/out, collecting/handling money, and various other duties based upon the front office needs.
We are looking for candidates who can operate in a multifaceted, fast paced but manageable team environment that requires quick decision making and attention to detail. The position may include both weekday and weekend hours, including some holidays and closing shifts.
Rate: $23.00/hour
EXPERIENCE:
The candidate we seek may have receptionist and/or medical experience. We are willing to train the right candidate. Experience with EHR systems (AthenaHealth experience is a plus).
