Location: Garden City, NY | Schedule: Full time 35/hours | Status: Non-Exempt |Salary Range: $21/hour
The Opportunity
Family and Children's Association (FCA) is an organized and detailed Accounting clerk for our busy fiscal department.
Responsibilities
- Assist with document copying, scanning, and printing of cancelled checks and bank statements for government claims.
- Support the annual storage of fiscal documents and maintain the MWBE binder with up-to-date certificates.
- Collaborate with supervisor and Facilities Director to update vendor certificates as needed.
- Assist Accounts Payable with check mailing and invoice filing, and support Accounts Receivable with check copying for deposits.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of one year of experience in an office environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; certification in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
