Neighborhood Operations Coordinator - Hough

SUMMARY 

The Coordinator performs administrative tasks, provides office management, and organizes community events at The Hough Multipurpose Center. They report directly to and assists the Director of Community Building & Engagement at Famicos Foundation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

         Food Pantry Management

• The Coordinator stocks the pantry and manages pantry volunteers, ensuring the community has access to food on distribution days and throughout the week.
• The Coordinator tracks resident activities in database.
  
  Office Management/Admin
  Plans and organizes large-scale events in Hough, such as neighborhood festivals, youth summits and holiday programs.
• Works closely with elected officials to design and implement initiatives that meet the needs of residents and community stakeholders.
• Manages daily operations of community center, including staffing, program oversight, and efficient use of the facility.
• Greets residents and provides necessary information,
• Pays invoices for the facility.
• Completes grant management report on time.
• Keeps the community informed of updates and upcoming events.
• Supports the Director of CBE by addressing a number of tasks.

REQUIREMENTS

Familiarity with community and neighborhood engagement

Basic Human Resources

QUALIFICATIONS

 Bachelor’s degree (5 years as office manager or extensive admin work will be considered)

Salary : $48,000 - $50,000
