FAMCO — one of the nation’s leading manufacturers of HVAC, roofing, and building products — is looking for a Contractor Relations & Market Development Manager to strengthen our connection with the trades. This is a hands-on field role for someone who enjoys being on job sites, building authentic relationships, and helping contractors solve real-world challenges with smart, reliable products.
What You’ll Do
- Build strong, long-term relationships with contractors, installers, and distributors across your region.
- Visit job sites to observe installations, gather feedback, and understand what’s working (and what’s not).
- Represent the “Voice of the Contractor” within FAMCO — translating field insights into product improvements, training opportunities, and business growth strategies.
- Conduct product demos and hands-on training sessions with contractors and field teams.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product Development to strengthen our position in the market and deliver what the field really needs.
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of experience in construction or building products — ideally as a roofer, plumber, HVAC tech, or installer who’s moved into a sales, rep, or business development role.
- A natural ability to connect with tradespeople — you know the jobsite culture and how to earn respect through authenticity.
- Strong understanding of construction practices, building codes, and jobsite operations.
- Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% across your territory.
