Dental Insurance Billing Specialist/ Front Desk Lead

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dental Insurance Billing Specialist/Front Desk Lead to join our vibrant dental practice. Responsibilities

• Manage dental insurance billing processes, including verifying patient coverage, submitting claims, and following up on unpaid or denied claims and predeterminations.
• Ensure accuracy in dental coding by applying appropriate ADA coding standards and understanding dental terminology related to dental procedures.
• Lead front desk operations by greeting patients, scheduling appointments, managing patient check-in/check-out procedures, and handling inquiries professionally.
• Coordinate with insurance companies for claim processing, appeals, and collections to optimize revenue cycle management.
• Train and supervise front desk staff on billing procedures, dental office protocols, and customer service excellence.
• Stay updated on industry regulations related to dental billing, ADA coding changes, and insurance policies to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Experience

• Proven experience dental billing with a strong understanding ADA coding, and dental terminology.
• Demonstrated knowledge of dental collection processes and revenue cycle management within a healthcare setting.
• Prior experience working with Dentrix system and managing medical records efficiently.
• Familiarity with dental office operations including front desk management, appointment scheduling, and patient communication.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with patients, insurance providers, and team members. Pay: $26.00 - $31.00 per hour
