As our Relationship Manager, you own the referral channel. Realtors, mortgage lenders, title companies, property managers, auto dealers, financial advisors you find them, win them, and keep them fed. Every homebuyer needs insurance before closing. You make Fallon the name that gets handed across the desk.
This is not a desk job and it is not a cold-calling boiler room. It is professional, face-to-face business development in the Oshkosh / Fox Valley market office visits, networking events, trade shows, , and building our brand on social media everywhere you go. Base salary, uncapped production bonuses, an annual partnership bonus, agency profit-share, and a clear scoreboard. - 1 years in outside sales, business development, B2B account management, or a relationship-driven role (real estate, mortgage, title, or insurance background is a strong plus)
- Comfortable prospecting in person and by phone: you can walk into an office you've never been in and leave with a next step
- Organized and CRM-disciplined; AgencyZoom experience a plus
- Social media capable: comfortable capturing photo/video in the field and posting polished content to Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn (include a link to your LinkedIn profile with your application)
- Active, professional LinkedIn presence and the instincts to build a referral network there
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (local travel throughout Oshkosh / Fox Valley)
- No insurance license required. This is a relationship and marketing role, not a production seat; all quoting and policy advice is handled by our licensed producers
- High character, high energy, zero excuses: you keep promises to partners the way we keep promises to clients
Responsibilities
- Identify, contact, and meet with referral partners: real estate agents, mortgage lenders, title companies, property managers, auto dealers, financial advisors, and contractors
- Activate new partners, from first conversation to signed referral relationship to first referred household
- Maintain a weekly touchpoint schedule with every active partner; no partner goes quiet
- Route every referred lead to a producer the same day it arrives, because speed is the promise we make partners
- Deliver real value to partners using the agency's toolkit: features on our website Partnership Page, spotlights in our monthly client magazine, co-branded client resources, and quarterly community campaign tie-ins
- Log every partner, touchpoint, and referral in AgencyZoom (our CRM). If it isn't logged, it didn't happen
- Track and report referral channel numbers weekly: new partners, active partners, referred households, issued policies
- Represent the agency at community and charity events, including our quarterly giving campaigns
- Attend and work networking events, chamber functions, and trade shows to build the agency's presence everywhere local professionals gather
- Work a monthly agency-funded business development budget: bagel and pizza drops for partner office staff, and sit-down breakfasts, lunches, and dinners with the broker-owners and top producers who steer referrals
- Capture and post field content to agency social media (event photos, partner spotlights, community moments) following agency brand guidelines
- Prospect and nurture referral partners on LinkedIn: connect with local realtors, lenders, and advisors, and publish partner spotlight posts that grow the agency's professional network
- Request Google reviews from happy partner-referred clients
