What You’ll Do

As a valued member of our clinic team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring excellent patient care by:

• Preparing patients and exam rooms with care and professionalism.

• Taking vital signs and helping patients feel comfortable.

• Assisting providers during examinations and treatments.

• Performing phlebotomy, blood draws, and non-IV injections.

• Administering medications (unit dosage) and providing basic first aid.

• Collecting and processing routine lab specimens.

• Operating office medical equipment and performing simple lab procedures.

• Observing and reporting patients’ signs or symptoms.

• Supporting the clinic team with general administrative duties.

What We’re Looking For

• Certified Medical Assistant credentials required.

• Someone who is dependable, compassionate, and detail-oriented.

• A team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.

• A caring professional who enjoys working directly with patients.

Education/Experience/Licensure

• Registry with the SD Board of Medical and Osteopathic Examiners. Certification by a national organization does not mean that the Certified Medical Assistant can perform duties outside their scope of practice as noted in the above.
• Must have or obtain BLS certification within 90 days of employment
