Compensation
- Compensation: Commission-based – $3,500 - $5,500 per home sale
- (approximately $150,000 – $250,000 depending on number of homes sold)
- Homes are typically not listed for sale until the late stages of construction making transactions easier for the sales agent
- Consistent volume of ongoing real estate transactions available
About the Position: Fall Creek Homes is a fast-paced residential home builder constructing approximately 50 – 60 homes per year throughout Southeast Idaho. We primarily build high-quality spec homes using a streamlined and organized construction process designed to keep projects moving efficiently from start to finish.
We are seeking a motivated, professional, and highly organized Real Estate Sales Agent to represent and sell new construction homes built by Fall Creek Homes in the southeast Idaho market. This role will work almost exclusively with Fall Creek Homes and will serve as the primary point of contact for prospective buyers throughout the home purchasing process—from first inquiry through contract, construction updates, closing, and post-sale follow-up.
We welcome applications from those not currently licensed so long as you are willing and able to obtain a license. The ideal candidate understands the customer experience involved in purchasing a newly built home. This person should be comfortable managing multiple buyers simultaneously, maintaining consistent communication, and helping convert walk-in, online, and other traffic into successful sales.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Relations
- Meet with prospective buyers and guide them through available floor plans, communities, pricing, upgrades, and financing options.
- Conduct home tours and property showings.
- Convert leads generated through website inquiries, walk-ins, referrals, and advertising.
- Build strong relationships with buyers and provide exceptional customer service throughout the construction process.
- Maintain regular communication with buyers regarding build progress, timelines, selections, and closing expectations.
- Follow up consistently with prospective buyers to increase conversion rates.
Contract & Transaction Management
- Work directly with construction management to understand inventory availability, construction schedules, and delivery timelines.
- Prepare and present purchase agreements and related transaction documents.
- Coordinate contracts, deposits, and closing timelines.
- Work closely with title companies, lenders, and internal staff to ensure smooth transactions.
- Track contracts and maintain accurate records.
- Represent the company professionally in the local market.
- Develop market knowledge regarding pricing, competing builders, and housing trends.
Qualifications
Required
- Active Idaho Real Estate License in good standing (or ability to obtain prior to start date). Candidates not yet licensed are welcome to apply if willing to obtain a license.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
- Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, and transaction management tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Preferred
- Experience selling new construction homes.
- Familiarity with construction processes, timelines, and residential development.
- Experience working directly with builders or production home companies.
- Knowledge of the Idaho Falls and surrounding housing market.
- Experience with MLS systems and digital lead platforms.
