Role Description This is a part-time Teton Sales Rep role based in Jackson, WY, or the surrounding areas. The Teton Sales Rep is responsible for driving sales of Kate’s products within the Teton region through direct outreach to retailers, outdoor shops, grocery stores, and food service partners. Day-to-day activities include visiting existing accounts, presenting product lines, securing new shelf placements, managing in-store merchandising, reconciling inventory and ensuring accurate pricing and promotional materials. The role includes prospecting new accounts, scheduling and conducting sales meetings, providing product samples, and tracking pipeline activity in a CRM or similar tool. The Teton Sales Rep will also conduct in-store demos and events, gather market feedback, collaborate with marketing and operations teams, and provide regular sales reporting and territory insights to leadership.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in territory sales, account management, and relationship building with retail or food service partners.
- Experience in prospecting, cold outreach, and closing new business within a defined geographic area.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to organize schedules, manage routes, and maintain accurate records and reports.
- Comfort working independently in the field, with strong time management and self-motivation.
- Familiarity with CPG, natural foods, or outdoor industry sales is highly beneficial.
- Basic proficiency with CRM systems, email, spreadsheets, and digital reporting tools.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel frequently within the Teton region.
- Interest in outdoor activities and alignment with Kate’s focus on wholesome, organic products.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
