Environmental Technician

Are you passionate about protecting the environment and working outdoors? Join our team as an Environmental Field Technician, where you’ll play a key role in supporting environmental monitoring, sampling, and compliance efforts. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys fieldwork, problem-solving, and contributing to sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct field sampling of soil, water, air, and other environmental media
• Operate and maintain field equipment such as GPS units, water quality meters, and sampling tools
• Record and document field data accurately and thoroughly
• Assist with environmental site assessments and remediation projects
• Support environmental compliance activities, including inspections and audits
• Communicate findings and observations to project managers and clients
• Follow safety protocols and ensure proper use of PPE
• Travel to various project sites as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field preferred)
• Previous field experience in environmental sampling or monitoring is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry tools)
