What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Designer position at FalconTek?
Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing drawings for control panels and on machine wiring
- Performing power engineering calculations
- Designing to applicable standards and codes
- Designing systems with PLCs, VFDs and HMIs
- Developing electrical schematics
- Evaluating, selecting, and specifying appropriate electrical equipment and components
- Coordinating with clients, contractors, and other disciplines
- Effectively building and maintaining relationships with clients, panel builders, and our team
- Maintain a positive and professional work environment
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
- Proficient in AutoCAD / Inventor and MS Office
- 2 years of electrical design experience in the control systems environment
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Electrical design: 2 years (Required)
- AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Inventor: 2 years (Preferred)
