Duties
- Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Write detailed service orders by accurately documenting customer complaints, vehicle symptoms, and requested services
- Communicate effectively with technicians to relay diagnostic findings and repair recommendations
- Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, or transmission repairs to enhance customer value
- Prepare auto estimates using dealership management software, ensuring transparency and accuracy for customers
- Coordinate with parts departments to ensure timely availability of necessary components for repairs
- Manage cash handling procedures and process payments efficiently while maintaining accuracy and integrity
Requirements
- Proven dealership experience or background in auto service management is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and vehicle maintenance
- Familiarity with auto estimating tools and automotive service writing practices
- Knowledge of various automotive systems including transmissions, air brakes, suspensions, shocks & struts, diesel engines, and auto body repair
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
- Experience in upselling services while maintaining integrity and customer trust
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Sales experience related to automobile sales or automotive repair is a plus

Pay: $16.90 - $17.50 per hour
