Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced UX Designer to assess, redesign, and optimize the Okta End-User Dashboard experience for employees and contractors. The consultant will evaluate the current dashboard layout, identify usability improvements, and develop a modern, business-aligned dashboard structure that enhances discoverability, usability, and self-service adoption.
The ideal candidate will possess strong UX design expertise, experience designing enterprise portals or SaaS-based user experiences, and the ability to translate stakeholder requirements into intuitive dashboard designs. The role requires close collaboration with IAM Engineers, Okta Administrators, business stakeholders, and IT leadership to deliver an optimized dashboard experience.
Educational Qualification
- B.E / B.Tech / BCA / MCA or equivalent in Computer Science / IT
Experience Range
- 10 years or more overall IT experience
Primary Skills (Must Have)
- 3 years of UX/UI Design experience
- 3 years of experience designing enterprise portals, SaaS applications, or employee-facing digital platforms
- 3 years of proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, or equivalent design tools
Secondary Skills (Good to Have)
- Experience conducting user research, surveys, and usability assessments
- Strong understanding of information architecture and dashboard design principles
- Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and user journeys

Responsibilities (What You'll Do)

- Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability assessments to gather workforce feedback.
- Analyze dashboard usage patterns and identify opportunities for usability improvements.
- Design wireframes and prototype concepts for a redesigned dashboard experience.
- Develop section-based dashboard layouts organized by business functions such as IT, HR, Finance, Clinical Systems, and R&D.
- Define dashboard information hierarchy, navigation structure, and content organization standards.
- Establish tile naming conventions, icon standards, categorization guidelines, and design consistency principles.
- Create presentation materials and facilitate design review sessions with IAM leadership and IT stakeholders.
- Incorporate stakeholder feedback and refine dashboard design recommendations.
- Collaborate with IAM Engineers and Okta Administrators to support implementation of approved designs.
- Participate in change management and deployment planning activities.
- Document design standards, recommendations, and future-state dashboard governance guidelines.
