Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Sound Technician, based in West Chester, OH. The Sound Technician will handle audio-related tasks for live events, including managing live sound systems, microphones, and other audio equipment. Responsibilities include testing and maintaining equipment to ensure optimal sound quality during services and events, coordinating with musicians and other team members, and executing technical support for lighting setups as needed. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth and high-quality audiovisual experiences for the worship community.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in handling Live Sound and Sound systems
- Experience with the Advantis line of audio equipment
- Experience working with Microphones and setting up audio equipment
- Knowledge of Lighting operations and related equipment
- Familiarity with Music production and sound mixing is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and work collaboratively with a team
- Previous experience in a church or similar live event setting is beneficial
