Faith Christian Academy is a private, Christ-centered school serving students in grades K–12. As an ACSI-accredited institution and participant in the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP), we are committed to academic excellence, biblical worldview integration, and developing students spiritually, physically, and intellectually.

Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Physical Education Teacher to lead a comprehensive K–12 program that promotes physical fitness, lifelong wellness, and Christ-centered character development. The ideal candidate demonstrates a commitment to Christian education and the ability to engage students across a wide range of ages and abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a standards-based K–12 physical education curriculum aligned with Wisconsin Academic Standards and ACSI guidelines
• Teach age-appropriate skills in physical fitness, sports, movement, and wellness
• Integrate biblical principles and Christian character development into instruction
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
• Assess and document student progress regularly
• Organize and supervise activities such as recess, intramurals, or athletic events as assigned
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to support the school’s mission and student growth
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and expectations
• Maintain compliance with school policies, accreditation standards, and state requirements

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree, (in Physical Education or related field preferred)
• Agreement with and commitment to uphold the school’s Statement of Faith and Christian mission
• Ability to pass required background checks under Wisconsin law

Preferred:

• Prior teaching experience in K–12 settings
• Coaching experience or willingness to support school athletics
• ACSI certification (or willingness to obtain within required timeframe)
