Key Responsibilities
- Support with daily living tasks: meal prep, personal care, housekeeping, medication reminders
- Coach clients toward independence: budgeting, scheduling, communication, community involvement
- Ensure safety while respecting client choices and autonomy
- Provide transportation to appointments and activities
- Maintain clear documentation and follow individualized support plans
- Respond to urgent situations calmly and appropriately
Requirements
- Genuine compassion and respect for individuals with disabilities
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Valid CA driver’s license reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass background checks
- Caregiving or support experience preferred, but we provide training
