QUALIFICATIONS/ABILITIES:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA candidate preferred.
· 0–2 years of accounting experience or internship; strong desire to learn.
· Basic knowledge of GAAP and accounting cycle.
· Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with ERP/accounting systems preferred.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented processes.
· Positive attitude, high integrity, and strong work ethic.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
RESPONSIBILITIES – HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE VISION include the following, but are not limited to:
· Assist with month-end close tasks including standard journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules.
· Maintain accurate supporting documentation for transactions and balance sheet accounts.
· Support AP/AR and other accounting functions as needed (coverage and cross-training).
· Participate in process documentation and continuous improvement activities.
· Support audit requests by gathering and organizing and automate recurring work.
INDICATORS OF PERFORMANCE
· Assigned reconciliations and tasks are accurate and completed on time.
· Demonstrates consistent learning and progression in responsibilities.
· Contributes to documentation and process improvement initiatives.
