Role Description As a Sales Representative at FairWave, you’ll grow our specialty coffee brand, Anodyne Coffee, by developing new business and supporting existing wholesale partners throughout the Milwaukee market. This field-based role focuses on prospecting, cold outreach, account acquisition, and relationship management across cafés, restaurants, hotels, grocery, corporate foodservice, and other hospitality channels. You'll spend time meeting prospects, conducting tastings, and visiting accounts, while also managing your pipeline, scheduling meetings, and driving sales activity from the office.
Duties/Responsibilities
• Prospect and develop new business through cold outreach, networking, canvassing, and events.
• Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline; convert leads into new partnerships.
• Conduct regular in-person visits with prospective and existing accounts.
• Perform tastings, demos, and product presentations to drive interest and close business.
• Maintain strong account management for existing partners through check-ins, support, and communication.
• Coordinate with training and equipment teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service.
• Provide partners with category insights, product recommendations, and program suggestions.
• Respond to customer needs and inquiries within expected timeframes.
• Track sales activity, pipeline movement, forecasting, and partner information in HubSpot.
• Meet assigned financial and activity goals tied to revenue growth and pipeline development.
• Identify and expand opportunities within existing accounts (e.g., new locations, menu placements, or products).
• Ensure accurate and timely order processing.
• Monitor competitive and market trends.
• Represent FairWave brands with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Qualifications
- Experience and knowledge of the coffee industry
• 2 years of outbound sales experience with proven results.
• Demonstrated success meeting financial and activity-based goals.
• Highly self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously in the field.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred); NetSuite familiarity is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with urgency and attention to detail.
• Strong customer service mindset; able to support and advocate for partners.
• Ability to perform tastings and educate customers on specialty coffee.
• Reliable transportation for field travel; mileage reimbursement provided.
