GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Performs a variety of asset management duties utilizing various tools, systems, and software applications. Performs related duties as assigned.
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE POSITION: The Asset Management position is responsible for overseeing the organization’s assets during their lifecycle to ensure proper labeling, compliance, and disposal. This role will develop and maintain the asset management processes in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures under the supervision of the Finance Director.
TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES: (Illustrative only)
- Responsible for tracking and monitoring the purchasing, moving, labeling, and disposal of agency assets.
- Assists in the preparation and reporting of organizational assets.
- Maintain accurate asset inventory and management database.
- Conduct regular audits to verify asset location, condition, and utilization.
- Assist with periodic outside audits.
- Traveling between programs.
- Per Diem position
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Proficient in the use of spreadsheets and Microsoft Office applications. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a finance team while maintaining productivity and accountability in an independent work environment. Ability to quickly learn, adapt to, and effectively utilize a variety of software programs and systems.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant must possess a high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma. Drivers license with less than 3 points.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to move throughout the facility independently, including climbing stairs. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and assist with relocation furniture and equipment as necessary.
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
