Fairview Range is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Infusion Department at our Mesaba Clinic in Hibbing, MN.
The Infusion Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care to patients as well as indirect care. This may include the safe administration of chemotherapy agents or other infusions, as well as care for various venous access devices, foleys, and other duties as necessary specific to the patient and treatment plan.
Schedule: This position will work 32 to 59 hours per two weeks. The shift length will be 8-hours on the Day/Evening shift. Weekends: As needed

RN Job Responsibilities
- Performs a total systems assessment according to established policies (including physical, psychosocial and spiritual data).
- Demonstrates awareness of age-specific criteria in obtaining assessment data.
- Identifies patient needs and/or nursing diagnosis based on analysis of collected data and incorporates into an individualized plan of care.
- Analyzes assessment data, identifies problems and develops the plan of care in collaboration with the patient, significant other and resource personnel.
- Identifies expected outcomes which are realistic, measurable and attainable.
- Provides appropriate nursing care based on assessments and in coordination with medical care, including external referrals, as directed.
- Recognized and reports adverse patient condition to the provider in a timely manner.
- Safe administration of chemotherapy agents, IV solutions, and medication additives.
RN Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- One year of acute and/or ambulatory direct patient care experience or one year of recent oncology experience.
- Current Minnesota RN Licensure.
- Current ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy certification or obtains within 3 months of hire.
- Current ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certificate or obtains within 2 years of hire and maintains.
- Current BLS certification or attend BLS class within 3 months of hire and maintains certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Certification in Nursing Specialty (OCN)
