Fairview Range is hiring a Manager for Facilities and Project Management in Hibbing, MN
The Manager oversees Construction projects including planning, design, and oversight of the contractors. This position will work on the Space Committee and will coordinate the planning of changes. Directs the activities of electrical and other contractors and assists in, develops, and negotiates electrical and construction contracts. Coordinates the maintenance, repair, and installation of the hospital's electrical systems and equipment as needed. Consults with the Electrical Coordinator in regard to installations/repairs of electrical equipment. Manages the Facilities and Biomed staff and day to day operations of the Shop and departmental budgets. Oversees a wide range of administrative duties, including payroll and accounting functions in the department and ensuring quality operations with attention to safety and security of the building.
Schedule: This position will be working full time, 80 hours per pay period.

Manager Job Responsibilities
- Coordinates construction, electrical, and change orders.
- Oversees general mechanical and preventative maintenance as well as inspection, servicing, repair, and overhaul of equipment and facilities to include: refrigeration, cooling, air conditioning and heating systems, and equipment.
- Understanding of the boilers and other auxiliary equipment necessary for producing steam for heat and power.
- Coordinates all activities to accomplish work according to contract. Assign contractors to complete tasks.
- Provide direction, supervision, guidance, and technical assistance as needed to work crew.
- Maintain all required records and information pertinent to costing out work assignments.
- Prepare required reports.
- Actively monitors and manages employee performance.
- Competent in operating, project, and capital budgeting.
- Builds collaborative relationships with internal and external partners and team members.
Required Qualifications
- Two year technical degree and/or comparable knowledge and experience in building maintenance/construction/plumbing/electrical demonstrated through verifiable work experience.
- Must possess Second Class B boiler license or obtains within 2 years of hire.
- Experience with Building Automation, Alarms Systems, and Equipment Management Systems.
- Life Safety Code experience and knowledge of Joint Commission Standards.
- Experience with Building Automation Systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Five years leadership experience.
