JOB DESCRIPTION
Safely and efficiently operate the mix system to ensure product compliance to company and customer standards.
Strict adherence to and understanding of both the FDA-GMPs and the SQF standards as they relate to the manufacturing areas in order to ensure that the program is being properly executed. Detailed training will be required of this position as there will be several of our facility's CCP (Critical Control Points) that incorporate directly with the duties of this position.
Daily start up, shut down, and clean-up of the mill operation which includes: monitoring product, performing quality audits, polishing tanks, monitoring tank levels, servicing the mix platform, and keeping the area clean and orderly. Housekeeping of machine and plant area.
Complete the Facility Master Sanitation Schedules as assigned.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Daily lifting of product and boxes ranging from 1 pound to 50 pounds from table level to floor and above head as often as once every approximately 15 minutes.
Constant walking and standing required. Climbing up and down ladders or stairs required. Must be able to continually bend and stoop for length of shift.
Must be able to use small hand tools if necessary to perform minor maintenance or adjustments.
Must be able to work in an environment where the indoor temperature ranges from 80 to 100 degrees F in summer and 50-65 degrees F in winter.
