- Use measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers, and dyers to conduct inspections.
- Communicate results by marking castings and completing inspection documentation, travelers, and discrepancy tags.
- Operate equipment and tools safely, adhering to safety protocols.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or equivalent; strong inspection experience preferred.
- Proficiency with all types of measuring devices and blueprint reading.
- Strong math skills and ability to work closely with engineering and management teams.
- Physical ability to read reports, communicate effectively, and perform manual tasks including lifting and maneuvering objects up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to work varying shifts, including overtime, and operate in environments with noise, dust, and chemicals.
