Travel Nurse - RN - Progressive Care Unit

Role: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients requiring close observation but not needing ICU care.
• Utilize monitoring equipment to detect changes in cardiac and vital signs for timely intervention.
• Manage complex medication administration and titration based on patient vitals.
• Provide care in various settings such as cardiac, neuro, surgical, or ER holding units.
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Active RN license and degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• At least 18 months of recent experience in an acute care PCU/Step-down setting.
• Strong monitoring, assessment, and critical thinking skills.
  
  

Key Duties: Monitor patient vital signs, detect emergencies, and provide specialized care for patients requiring close observation. The role involves use of advanced monitoring equipment and managing complex medications, often in a fast-paced environment.
