Role: Critical Care Shift Manager (Registered Nurse) responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a critical care setting.
- Assist in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating nursing practices aligned with organizational goals.
- Support the development and evaluation of nursing personnel and maintain operational efficiency of the unit.
- Prescribe, delegate, and coordinate nursing care, serving as a resource for clinical issues and care plans.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, technical skill, compassionate care, and professional behavior, acting as a peer role model.
- Contribute to educational, research, and mission-driven initiatives within the department.
- Active California RN license, BLS, and ACLS certification; PALS within 6 months.
- National certification for Shift Manager III and IV; BSN or certification for Shift Manager II.
- 2 years in critical care, with managerial experience ranging from 2 to 7 years depending on the role.
- Completion of approved critical care courses with superior arrhythmia recognition skills and passing related tests.
- Function as Primary Nurse in critical care, overseeing department functions during assigned shifts.
- Support clinical decision-making, staff development, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Perform other duties as required to ensure optimal patient outcomes and team performance.
