- Establishing and evaluating measurable, realistic goals aligned with patient needs.
- Overseeing and evaluating care provided by OT aides, rehab aides, and students.
- Maintaining accurate, timely documentation and utilizing therapy software effectively.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educating and communicating effectively with patients, families, and staff.
- Assisting with safety procedures and emergency protocols, including patient evacuation.
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program (BSOT or MSOT).
- Current license and registration in the applicable state, maintaining good standing.
- NBCOT certification upon hire; renewal is optional.
- CPR certification required, with ongoing certification during employment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication.
- Strong interpersonal, decision-making, and clinical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good body mechanics, confidentiality, and adherence to legal and organizational policies.
- Follow established treatment plans, ensuring patient safety and rights.
