Position: Registered Nurse, Infusion Clinic
Location: Northwest Community Hospital - Infusion Center
Role Overview: Provides safe, compassionate nursing care by developing, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Performs patient assessments, communicates care plans to patients and families, and documents health data. Individualizes patient education, supports professional development of colleagues, and assists with technical procedures such as injections and IV management. Participates in quality improvement, research, and wound/ostomy care. Ensures compliance with HIPAA and assists with patient transportation when needed.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (required), 1 year oncology/infusion experience (preferred), current Illinois RN license, BLS/CPR certification.
Skills: Strong clinical assessment, communication, patient education, teamwork, and technical skills. Ability to provide culturally competent care and support a compassionate environment.
