- Conducting initial screenings, assessments, and re-evaluations
- Documenting assessments, interventions, goals, and progress in a timely manner
- Developing individualized intervention plans collaboratively
- Participating in IEP and progress review meetings
- Maintaining detailed records of student assessments and services
- Serving as a resource for staff and providing training/support to families and teams
- Ensuring timely scheduling of OT services and managing supplies and equipment
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the relevant state
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of school-based OT services, IEP requirements, and behavioral dynamics
- Effective communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills
