Nurse Educator (RN)

Role Overview: The Nurse Educator (RN) in the Critical Care Transport Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) is responsible for delivering holistic, quality nursing care by applying the nursing process within the organization's framework. This position focuses on patient education and critical care support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, cost-effective nursing care to patients and families.
• Apply the nursing process within the organization's professional practice framework.
• Supervise nursing staff and delegate tasks appropriately.
• Report to the Unit Manager and ensure clinical competence.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current Connecticut RN license.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association prior to hire.
