Role: The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) provides direct nursing care to clients based on physicians' orders and standard practices. They supervise non-licensed staff, operate the unit, and support clients' recovery journey in a behavioral health setting.
Responsibilities: Deliver nursing care, oversee staff, and support client stabilization and empowerment through a person-centered, multi-modal treatment approach. Maintain compliance with licensure standards and safety protocols.
Qualifications & Skills: Current California licensure as an LVN or LPT, knowledge of nursing theory, supervisory ability, teamwork skills, and CPR/first aid certifications. Mental health nursing experience is preferred.
