Role: Center Medical Specialist in a plasma donation center.
Responsibilities: Conduct physical examinations, assess donor suitability, build rapport, ensure confidentiality, educate donors on health and test results, evaluate and manage injuries and adverse events, review medical history and medications, assist in employee training, and administer hepatitis vaccines.
Qualifications & Skills: Licensed or certified as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Vocation Nurse, Paramedic, or EMT; current CPR certification; bilingual in Spanish.
Key Attributes: Ability to perform standing/sitting tasks, bending, twisting, precise hand movements, light lifting, good vision, communication skills, independent work ethic, and adaptability to variable demands. Must work in a clinical environment with exposure to biological fluids, electrical equipment, and cold temperatures, using appropriate PPE.
