- Assist primary care physicians in delivering patient care within scope and guidelines
- Review and update health records, verify diagnostic tests and reports
- Measure vital signs and prepare treatment rooms for examinations
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting patients respectfully
- Perform clerical duties such as checking inventory, tracking referrals, and answering phones
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High School diploma or GED
- Active Medical Assisting certification (e.g., CMA, RMA, CCMA, NRCMA, NCMA, NCCT) or Assessment-Based Recognition in Order Entry (if applicable)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or required prior to independent patient care
- One year of healthcare experience (preferred), two years of clerical experience (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and professional interaction with staff and patients
