Physician – Inpatient Psychiatry Consult

Fairview Health Services is seeking BE/BC Psychiatrist to join our Psychiatry Consult Service at M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN.

Practice Highlights:  

• Provide psychiatric evaluation and treatment for adult patients at a approx. 300 bed community hospital.
• See approx. 6-8 patients per shift (new consults and follow-ups).
• Provide occasional consultation in the on-site EmPATH and virtual consults at other M Health Fairview hospitals.
• Collaborate with a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Provider on the service.
• Full-time 1.0 FTE. Day shift. M-F. No weekends.
• No weeknight or weekend call.

• Graduate of an accredited ACGME Psychiatry residency training program.
• Board eligible/certified with the ABPN
• Licensed or ability to acquire medical license and DEA in the State of Minnesota and meet threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges.
