Job Overview
Fairview is looking for a Casual Patient Attendant to join our team at our Fairview Northland Hospital in Princeton, MN. This position picks up shifts as needed to help support our amazing nursing staff.
*Must be able to report to the hospital within 30 minutes of being called in*
Responsibilities
- Ensure patient safety through close and constant observation of the patient
- Observes for real and potential threats to the patient’s safety and initiates appropriate action to prevent patient harm
- Reports observations directly to the patient’s assigned nurse or to the unit’s charge nurse
- Documents observations in the designated appropriate manner
- Other duties as assigned which do not require clinical competency (i.e stocking rooms, answering call lights)
