Fairview is seeking a dedicated DME Service Coordinator to specialize in CPAP, BiLevel, and related PAP supplies and equipment. This patient-facing role plays a vital part in ensuring individuals receive high-quality sleep therapy and ongoing support for their PAP devices.
The DME Service Coordinator will be responsible for obtaining clinical documentation, verifying insurance information, and qualifying patients under their insurance guidelines. They will educate patients on sleep therapy and PAP equipment, schedule and complete PAP-related appointments either in-office or virtually, and process paperwork for billing while ensuring all patient interactions are properly documented. Additionally, they will monitor patient progress and provide ongoing support to help patients succeed with their PAP therapy devices.
This role also includes assisting in the showroom with other DME items, answering phone calls, returning voicemails, transferring supplies, and supporting inventory management. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to compassionate patient care are essential. Knowledge of sleep therapy and DME-related equipment is preferred, and experience with insurance verification and billing processes is a plus.

Additional responsibilities involve:
- Developing, implementing, and handling inventory control processes
- Ensuring patient care needs are served in a timely manner
- Setting up equipment and delivering quality education
- Coordinating equipment data management and analysis efficiently
- Providing timely and accurate compliance information to providers
- Facilitating effective claim processing
- Assist patients in the showroom
- Other assigned DME duties
Required:
- 2 years of customer service experience
- BLS Certification (or required to possess within 2 months from hire date)
Preferred:
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare or similar work experience
- 2 years in a direct patient care setting
- Experience fitting DME equipment
