Position Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Facilities, the Seasonal Grounds & Cleaners perform general cleaning and maintenance duties in school buildings and on district grounds. Additional related duties may be assigned as needed.

Occasional travel between school buildings and district facilities may be required

Primary Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning and maintenance of school facilities
- Assist with upkeep of outdoor grounds and landscaped areas
- Use hand tools and equipment for basic grounds maintenance
- Support facilities staff with assigned tasks
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Demonstrated reliability, including consistent punctuality and readiness to work
- Ability to follow oral instructions accurately
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Basic experience using hand tools for grounds or park maintenance
- Ability to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Candidates under 18 must provide valid working papers in accordance with New York State law
