What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nursing Faculty Instructor position at Fairleigh Dickinson University?
The responsibilities of this 12-month non-tenure track Instructor faculty position include teaching and service. We seek a faculty member who can teach across entry- and advanced-level programs with a focus on competency development in a clinical laboratory environment and is comfortable the oversight of clinical faculty and preceptors in the laboratory setting.
The faculty member will be effective in teaching and mentoring diverse students using multi-methods (i.e., both online and in-person modalities); develop curricula; engage in university service; and participate in accreditation-related processes.
Required Qualifications:
Required/Preferred Qualifications
1. Required: An earned master’s degree in nursing.
2. Required: Unencumbered current New Jersey registered nurse license.
3. Required: Clinical and /or didactic teaching experience.
4. Required: Demonstrate ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong organizational skills.
5. Preferred: University, teaching experience
